About Us

Hey there! We’re Daughters of Indie, a cozy little shop in downtown Bracebridge that celebrates creativity, community, and all things indie. We carry beautiful, sustainable pieces from independent brands and local makers — everything from clothing and accessories to gifts you can feel good about giving (or keeping 😉).

The Role

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and style-savvy Summer Student to join our team for the season! If you love connecting with people, have an eye for fashion, and want to spend your summer in a creative, community-minded space — this could be a perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers and help them find pieces they’ll love
• Keep the shop tidy, organized, and looking great
• Work the cash register and handle sales transactions
• Help restock shelves and unpack new arrivals
• Share styling ideas and product knowledge
• Be part of a fun, supportive team that values creativity and kindness

Who You Are

• A student returning to school in the fall (high school, college, or university)
• Outgoing, responsible, and love chatting with people
• Interested in fashion, local design, and sustainability
• A team player who’s also comfortable taking initiative
• Available to work weekends and some holidays
