Part-Time Weekend Hours | $18.50–$20/hour

After an initial training period, you will be working independently for your entire shift. We're looking for someone who can be trusted to keep things running smoothly, make good decisions and take initiative without needing to be constantly directed.
Weekend shifts for the Winter season would be (hours increase slightly in Summer months):
Saturday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
Flexible availability: You may be available for one shift per weekend or both shifts. We're happy to work with the right person to find a consistent schedule that works for them.
The most important thing is that once you're scheduled, we can count on you to be there.

- A self-starter who takes initiative without being asked

- Warm, friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Calm and capable when unexpected situations arise
- Someone who takes pride in keeping the shop clean, organized and beautifully presented
- Naturally attentive to what needs to be done next
- Comfortable asking questions when needed, while also being able to figure things out independently
- Someone who follows through and can genuinely be counted on
The most important qualities for this position are maturity, reliability, good judgment and initiative.
What makes someone successful in this role?
You're someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do.
You notice when something needs tidying and take care of it.
You see that a rack needs restocking and do it.
You can make a customer feel welcome while also keeping an eye on the rest of the shop.
If the store is quiet, you naturally find something productive to do.
And when something unexpected comes up, you can use good judgment, stay calm and figure out the appropriate next step.
You take ownership of your shift.
Experience
Retail or customer-service experience is an asset, but it's not everything.
We are most interested in finding someone who is mature, responsible, trustworthy and genuinely capable of working independently.
Previous experience working alone, managing responsibilities independently or working in a small business environment would be a strong asset.
